About Diana

Diana Gaikazova is a designer of home and fashion accessories, who was raised in the two art meccas of the world: Florence and Moscow. Since childhood she pursued an understanding of and passion for beauty. She graduated from the Moscow Artistic Theatre Academy in 1991, specializing in painting, sculpture and theatre stage design. During this intense formal education, one of the most significant influences on Diana’s conceptual design process was “Commedia dell’ Arte”, which involves spontaneous, improvised flow of theatrical performance based on a main theme.

Diana also had internships at major theatres including Vahtangov, and USSR Central Television Studios. She formed stage accessories with literally everything that was available, combining the uncombinable and experimenting with hundreds of materials and techniques to achieve the exact effect she desired.

Determined to forge new outlooks in accessories for home and fashion, Diana returned to Italy in 1993 to establish her first studio in Naples. During this time Diana collaborated with many other artists on various projects. She discovered new ways to combine her aesthetic principles and theatrical training, creating sophisticated collections in her unmistakable style. Diana moved to the USA in 1995 and established her studio in Dedham, MA.

Her artworks are collected by several VIPs and celebrities including: Quincy Jones, Sylvester Stallone, and George and Laura Bush.
